Welcome to my website, and the incredible cuteness that is (was) moi!

I grew up on the northern side of the Ohio River in Corydon, Indiana. My first memories are my dad’s original bedtime stories that no doubt inspired my active imagination and love of a well-spun “yarn”.

Childhood experiences, and a recurring dream about a mysterious attic, inspired characters, Cynthia and Augusta Lee, for award-winning middle-grade series, Cynthia’s Attic.

Through a horrifying stint as a travel agent and more rewarding experience teaching travel and tourism, Andi Anna Jones, travel agent/amateur sleuth, sprang to life. Margaritas, Mayhem & Murder was published in 2022. Sazerac, Sleuth & Slay came out in February 2023. Book three is in process! I’m also working on an adult mystery, For the Life of Claire, and have published the biography of an army brat, Keitia Swanier, who evolved into a star UConn college player and professional on the WNBA. 

I’m a member of The Sisters In Crime (National), Sisters In Crime, Atlanta Chapter, International Thriller Writers and the Carrollton (GA) Writers Guild.

When I give my fingers a break from the keyboard, I enjoy golf, swimming and exploring the mountains of West Georgia where I make my home with my husband. and an adopted, four-legged, furry son, Murphy.
